and I don't see how this could take anet long. Simply convert the armormods of the old into inscriptions and allow inscriptions to be added on them.

I have 15k granite citadle plate. I happen to think it's still the best looking in the game. I'd love to be able to give it the energy boost for example you'd have on Gladiator's.

I'd also be willing to pay an Elonian NPC in LA, the Market and possibly again in Elonia to convert/exchange armor and weapons from their existing to an identical version using the new stat method.

does this have a chance?? I'm thinking of re-buying my monk fow armor because of the fact that i want insignia-able armor. I already have a set of astetics though (that i wish I could change, sigh)

Certainly a good idea, though only through the Nightfalls chapter should you be able to for right now, and eventually shift it to include the inscriptions into the Prophecies and Factions chapters.

Maybe even begin making some more that are specific to areas in order to get some division going. The purchase of every rune and inscription kind of removes any market for them.
